it’s friday, april 14, & moon is in capricorn, in the starspace called shravana. capricorn encourages us to get serious, put our nose to the grindstone, reminds us that we don’t have forever, asks us to ask ourselves what we want our legacy to be, what we don’t want to leave undone when we blast off into our next incarnation. whatever that is for you, start (or finish) cracking!
shravana is the star of deep listening, of getting so quiet we can hear the voice in the innermost, innermost, most innermost depths of our being, the heart of the heart of the heart at the core of our essence.

it’s the ninth lunar day, the ninth phase of the waning moon, which supports turning negativity into positivity, toxic thoughts-emotions-relationships-situations into wisdom by inquiring into why they showed up in our life, what lesson we get to learn from them.
friday is ruled by venus, planet of art & love. “love is everywhere i go, looking through you,” sings sam phillips. ’nuff said! meanwhile, venus just moved into the star of seduction & creativity for the next 12 days, so it’s full steam ahead when it comes to love & art!
i’m cutting the bliss short today b/c next week is a big week in the sky & i am going to be retreating & won’t have time to write & don’t want to leave you in the lurch. there is going to be a cosmic traffic jam in aries—here’s what’ll be involved:
• for starters, a new moon solar eclipse in aries, in the starspace called ashwini, early morning on the 20th. take this opportunity to examine what is motivating you to charge ahead or what is preventing you from doing so & set an intention that allows you to move forward in alignment with the highest expression of yourself.
• jupiter gets up close & personal with rahu in aries from the 21st, blowing smoke around teachers, advisors, counselors—take your time before taking advice from experts (“experts”) lest you regret it later. brexit happened under similar conditions &, yeah, maybe not so much, eh?
• mercury goes retrograde the same day, also in aries, which is not a big deal—he does this three times a year—so don’t freak out. just double-down on communications, travel plans, anything techno/electronic. it’s time to rethink, re-envision, reorganize, whatever your favorite “re-” word is that doesn’t involve doing—this is prep for doing.
