it’s friday, april 15, & moon is in virgo, in the starspace called hasta, & we’ve got a full moon tomorrow, in libra, in the starspace called chitra, so we’ve got a lot to cover!
virgo is the sign of wellness & healing—it is where we are concerned with anything that could undermine our health & we take practical action steps accordingly: eating well, exercising, keeping our vitamin D levels up. hasta means “hand” & brings a lesson about god working through our hands, metaphorically or practically. i have found that many hands-on healers—reiki practitioners, massage therapists, etc—have significant planets placed here.
it’s the fourteenth lunar day today, the last phase before the full moon tomorrow, so emotions are being maxed out.
the full moon tomorrow is in libra, sign of relationships, & is opposite aries, sign of our individuality, in the starspace called chitra, which is ruled by tvashtar, the divine architect. so guess what our moon work is for the next half of the lunar month? yessssss, harmonizing the sense of “me” with “thee,” figuring out how not to abandon ourselves while giving ourselves fully to relationship, b/c being all in is the only way to do relationship. when we hold back, are stingy with ourselves, refuse to vulnerably share the gift of our authenticity, we limit the possibility for true intimacy, which means we just skim the surface of what relationship means. “everything we do in our relationships to keep us safe, does the opposite,” says aubrey marcus.
this full moon invites us to reflect on what we are creating in our relationships, whether they are mutually beneficial, if we are getting as good as we give, if we are giving as much as we are getting, if our relationships are in alignment with the truth of who we are.

friday is ruled by venus, which also rules libra. marianne williamson talks about relationships as doorways to god: each one allows us to work through more karma, more wounding, peel back more layers of ourselves until, eventually but inevitably, we see everyone, including ourselves, as god. how close are you to seeing god in the other? realizing there is no other?
