it’s friday, april 22 (happy earth day!), & moon is in sagittarius, moving from the starspace called purvashadha into uttarashadha around 9 am mountain time. sagittarius is ruled by jupiter, who is in his other home sign of pisces for the next year, so feeling strong. a strong jupiter gives us hope & faith, a sense of purpose connected to our divine nature. how’s that starting to work for you? in what area of life are you feeling it?
while purvashadha (see yesterday’s post for more) brings a lesson about intentionally planting the seeds that we want to grow, uttarashadha brings a lesson about nourishing those seeds, watering & feeding them, making sure they get sunlight. of course, we have to start with good soil, soil rich with the proper nutrients. these days, thanks to big ag’s monoculture & use of toxic chemical fertilizers like roundup, our soil has become completely denatured, what we grow in it more harmful than not.
to say that glyphosate, aka roundup, is a “probable carcinogen” is surely an understatement—& it totally compromises the immune system by destroying the integrity of the gut biome. it has also been suggested by dr. stephanie seneff, a research scientist at MIT, that it increases the ill effects of vaccines, which is why countries that spray glyphosate over everything have experienced more injuries from the current one than others. discuss among yourselves!
meanwhile, we can ask ourselves what the condition our internal soil is in, whether it has been completely denatured by our lifestyle, whether we are nourishing what we plant with 100% organic love & intention or not.
it’s the seventh lunar day, the seventh phase of the waning moon, reminding us that, as thomas merton said, “pride makes us artificial and humility makes us real.”
friday is ruled by venus, planet of our earthly delights. we wouldn’t be able, as earthlings, to delight in those delights if mother earth didn’t give us a nourishing home. how do you show your love for mother, not just today, but every day? do you respect her or take her for granted? do you give back at least as much as you take from her? do you live in a way that will allow her to sustain all the generations of earthlings that come after you?
& that’s your daily bliss! which is a kind of lunar weather report. may it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss. may it inspire you to enlighten up a little more each day.
