it’s thursday, april 6, & moon is moving from virgo this morning into libra this afternoon while being supported & transported by the starspace called chitra. virgo vibrates with the frequency of taking care of the details of our life, dotting all the i’s, crossing all the t’s. libra vibrates with the frequency of relationship, of wanting to be sociable after all the annoying but necessary drudgery of virgo. what qualifies as a relationship? i was having this discussion with a friend the other night & reaching a conclusion, which i don’t think we did, was not as easy as you might think. i posited that a relationship is a connection & is not defined by physical proximity or length of time spent with a person. like, making eye contact when tipping the dude (it’s pretty much always a dude) at the car wash who dries your car qualifies, at least to me. chatting with someone online, whether for a day or a week, qualifies. dancing primally with someone for a few minutes at movement mass counts. going out with someone once or twice qualifies. i have business relationships with people i’ve never met in person, have never even zoomed with. & i have relationships with people i have known since elementary school & still spend in-person time with, albeit not very frequently. obviously, there is a difference in quality but not in essence, at least to me. but that’s just what i think. what do you think?
chitra is ruled by tvashtar, the cosmic architect, who created objects that were both useful & beautiful, otherworldy yet worldly, fantastic yet functional, kind of melding mercury-ruled virgo’s practicality with venus-ruled libra’s love of beauty & luxury. how does the marriage of form & function show up in your life?
it’s the first lunar day, the first phase of the waning moon, which helps us clarify doubts, see the truth of our desires. our desires define who we are as personalities to a great extent, & so by understanding what we truly desire, we come into deeper alignment with who we are on a soul level. what do you desire? what do you think that reflects about the truth of who you are?
thursday is ruled by jupiter, who connects us to eternal wisdom. what we do (or don’t do) with that wisdom is up to us. are you acting on your teachings or letting them wither?
