daily blissit’s thursday, august 15, & moon is in the starspace called dhanishta, where it was full until just before dawn. dhanishta straddles capricorn & aquarius, providing the segue between those two energies, between the emphasis on our commitments to ourselves (capricorn) & our commitments to the world, to the greater good of humanity (aquarius), from the micro to the macro, from the internal to the external. we need “me” focus in order to create a solid foundation from which we can serve a cause bigger than just ourselves.

dhanishta is related to wealth, but not just, or not even, monetary wealth, but the wealth that comes from being in right relationship with our thoughts, words & actions, the wealth that comes from living our dharma, that comes from being goodness incarnate. & it often happens that money flows as a byproduct of living our dharma—it may not pile up like gold bullion in fort knox, but there will be enough, certainly enough for us to keep doing what we are meant to do, being who we are meant to be. & when we are, somehow we feel so wealthy in heart & soul that we don’t really care about how many dollars are sitting in the bank, right? right?! not that there’s anything wrong with dollars, especially if, say, we are using our bounty for the greater good, maybe tithing.

& not only is mars exalted (acting with superior intelligence, bringing the best of his energy) in this portion of capricorn, giving us the courage to fulfill our highest purpose, but he’s gazing this way today. so this is a great good day to create wealth by stepping more fully into our dharma.

it’s the first phase of the waning moon, a time to meditate on the polarity between unconditional love (the new moon in cancer) & your personal needs & responsibilities (full moon in capricorn), make peace with what you can & let the rest go.

& that’s your daily bliss—jupiter owns thursday, so do call in your teachers and/or their teachings, make sure they are serving your highest purpose, are relevant to your life’s path now, & allow them to fill you with inspiration & guidance.
