it’s sunday, august 18, & moon has moved into the starspace of pisces called uttarabhadra. the fish that are the symbol of pisces swim in the vast ocean of consciousness. they want only to immerse in that experience of oneness. they want only to let go & surrender to the source of all that is, which is love. jupiter, which rules pisces, is gazing that way now, infusing the moon (our heart-mind) with the wisdom of our greatest teachers.
uttarabhadra is ruled by the deity ahir budhnya. as the deep ocean snake, he represents the depth & mystery of our own psyche. i don’t know about you, but sometimes i wonder if i’ll ever know myself, ever be totally self-aware, if i won’t ever stop falling into my own subconscious traps! snakes are harbingers of transformation, but while they may bring things to the surface, it’s up to us to actually do the work, to decide how to view, how to use, for example, the shadow parts of ourselves, for our greater good, our spiritual evolution. remember: shadow is just the flip side of light; when we step out of our shadow, we step into our light, but we have to acknowledge our darkness—it will not be ignored. so don’t be afraid of diving into the depths today, don’t be afraid to let your shadow come out & play & learn a thing or two from it. don’t miss out on a great good opportunity to shine a little more light on the illusion of who you are, so you can shine a little brighter in the world.
the third lunar day becomes the fourth early this afternoon, so the first part of the day is about being flexible & open to new ideas/solutions, while the rest of the day is about maybe feeling somehow thwarted, having to overcome an obstacle or two.
& that’s your daily bliss—sunday is owned by the sun & he just moved into his happy place in leo, which he rules. the sun is our soul(ar) battery, so when the sun is happy, we are feeling fully charged. do take advantage of that energy today & for the coming solar month to get stuff done, to take positive actions—strike while the iron is hot!
