it’s thursday, august 19, & moon is in sagittarius, moving from the starspace called purvashadha into uttarashadha late morning. in the environment of jupiter-ruled sagittarius, we create a container of hope & meaning for our lives by attaching to a belief system. everyone believes something—bodhisattvas as well as bio-terrorists. just b/c we believe something doesn’t mean it’s true, or right, doesn’t mean it will serve our best interests or those of the world. sagittarius invites us to question our beliefs, ask ourselves whether they are raising our vibrational frequency or lowering it, whether they are lifting us up or sinking us down.
if the lesson of purvashadha (see yesterday’s post for more) is that we each have a gift to bring to the world, that wants to & must be born, uttarashadha brings the lesson that by tapping into the powers of the divine forces at our disposal, it will be so, it cannot be otherwise. we don’t have to go it alone, we have infinite support; in fact, we are stronger together than alone. asking for help doesn’t make us weaker, it makes us smarter. get smart today!
it’s the twelfth lunar day, the twelfth phase of the waxing moon, which is related to the sun. the planets aren’t just out there, they are in here, within us, as well. we are stardust. we do contain multitudes. our inner sun is the source of & clarifies our vision. if you’re not sure where you’re going, look within, connect to your inner light, let it shine, show you the way, reveal the path through what might feel like a forest of possibilities.
thursday is ruled by jupiter, so we get to double down on jupiterian energy today. jupiter means “guru,” the one who shines a light on our life, allows us to see in the darkness, see through the darkness. thursday is always a good day to honor our teachers, reflect on their teachings, & by teachers i don’t just mean capital T teachers, or spiritual teachers, i mean anyone & everyone who graced our life with wisdom, who showed us the way, showed us who we are capable of being, made us go “aha!”
