it’s monday, august 24, & moon is in libra, in the starspace called vishakha. libra is the sign of “good for you, good for me.” under the influence of libra’s energy, our desire is to be in symbiotic relationship with the people in our lives, whether friends or lovers or business partners. we do this by using our words to negotiate deals, make arrangements, that are equally beneficial to both parties. both sides give & take equally—if there is an imbalance, we have to reassess so that both individuals are happy, neither feels ill-used, like they are overgiving. this is not a sign of martyrdom!
vishakha is the only asterism ruled by two deities, indra (lightning) & agni (fire). given today’s moon phase (see below), we have a double opportunity to feel into the shakti of indra, which brings high-mindedness & righteousness, not self-righteousness, but a sense of righteousness toward the world. how can you up-level your standards to inspire the same in those around you? how can you open your heart & mind even more, find more compassion & acceptance, to uplift the world around you? how can you model the most desirable, the most healing & unifying & inclusifying (new word!) qualities of leadership today?
it’s the seventh lunar day, the seventh phase of the waxing moon, which is associated with lord indra, the king of the gods. tap into your best inner king/queen/sovereign today to enjoy roaming through the world you’ve created—just don’t get all full of yourself & think it was all your doing. indra’s fatal flaw was his ego. remember that even gods are vehicles for the divine just as we are; we are not the doers, but the conduits for the flow of the intelligence of the universe.
monday is ruled by the moon, which can make for an especially emotional day—hopefully those emotions come from the joy of greater heart connection rather than the opposite.
