it’s friday, august 26, & moon is in leo, in the starspace called magha, which inspires & launches the next lunar cycle overnight tonight with the new moon. leo vibrates with the frequency of our sovereignty, of each of us stepping into our power with courage & magnanimity, with humility not ego. but that doesn’t mean playing small—far from it! leo wants us to roar! the more each of us roars, the more each of us steps up & into our power, the more permission we give others to do the same. can you imagine the world we could create if everyone stopped playing small, if everyone courageously shared their gifts, shone their light, roared?
this new moon asks us to ask ourselves where we have been playing small, where we have not been showing up, or where we have been showing up that’s not in integrity, whether we have, say, been using our power to serve our ego rather than our highest purpose. our moon work in the last lunar cycle was about deepening our heart-connection, our heart-knowing. what did we learn? it’s time to take what we learned & trust our heart to guide us, for our heart is our power source. it’s time to stop making excuses about what we want. it’s time to do whatever it takes to learn what we want to learn, create what we want to create, be all we can be. if we want it badly enough, we will find a way to make it happen. what do you want bad as badly?
magha is ruled by the pitris, the ancestors—not just our biological ancestors but ALL those who came before us, like going back to adam & eve, like going back to the dinosaurs & even one-celled creatures, &, hey, let’s go as far back as the big bang, which got our whole earthly existence going! we would not be here otherwise. we have karma with all of those forces—they live in all of us. we get to show our gratitude to our ancestors & one way to do that is to live our best life possible, to let our light shine, which lets them know that their effort was not in vain.
