it’s wednesday, december 22, & moon is in cancer, in the starspace called pushya until about noon mountain time, then ashlesha. cancer vibrates with the frequency of unconditional love, the frequency of wanting to nourish & nurture everyone, hold them in our embrace, of feeling that we can, to paraphrase tosha silver, give with complete ease & abundance, knowing that the divine is the unlimited source of all. how beautiful is that?! how beautiful would our world be if everyone believed & did that?!
pushya brings the lesson that what we nourish will grow, ashlesha that we have to be careful about what we cling too tightly too, even that being or thing that we nourished so hard. it’s a good day to examine what or who we are clinging to, & how tightly, whether we are clinging with love or fear, whether we are clinging with the desire to nourish or control, whether it makes us feel expansive or contracted, raises or lowers our vibration.
it’s the fourth lunar day, the fourth phase of the waning moon, which is ruled by the lords ganesh & yama—as if one weren’t enough! so we may feel thwarted, feel as if we’ve got obstacles to overcome, even that something needs to metaphorically die. how can you see a challenge as an opportunity to work a particular muscle, get stronger? how can you see any breakdown as an opportunity for a breakthrough?
wednesday is ruled by mercury, who is curious, inquisitive, wants to know, & wants to use his noggin to scratch that itch. in order to know, we have to be willing to receive; we have to have an open mind, really want to know the truth, not just have what we think we know or would like to believe, confirmed. we don’t want to, say, concoct experiments that prove what we want them to prove, produce data to support our thesis, but that actually test our theory.
