it’s thursday, december 23, & moon is in cancer this morning, in the starspace called ashlesha, & moving into leo, in the starspace called magha this afternoon. if cancer vibrates with the frequency of the divine feminine (& it does), then leo vibrates with the frequency of the divine masculine (which it does). cancer is ruled by the moon, our feeling nature; leo by the sun, our doing nature. moon is happy for others to shine & support them in their shining—moon does, after all, only shine b/c of the sun’s light. sun wants to shine so others shine as a result. moon is happy to hang backstage, sun wants to take center stage. moon is cool, sun is hot.
as moon moves from the “it’s all about others b/c i feel them so hard” sign of cancer into the “it’s all about me b/c i want to be my best for others” sign of leo, notice whether you don’t feel more fired up, more willing to step out onto the stage of life, take up more space.
there is no starry bridge connecting cancer & leo—where cancer ends so does ashlesha, so do mind the gap, do note that your mind, your consciousness, may feel unsupported. be gentle with yourself. ashlesha (see yesterday’s post for more) brings a lesson about our attachments, magha brings the lesson that the best king serves the people not his own self-interests.

how does shining your light serve others? what is its purpose? your purpose?
it’s the fifth lunar day, the fifth phase of the waning moon, which is connected to goddess energy, supporting us in one (or two or three) of the things the goddess (think divine feminine) does best: nurturing (think making our booboos better) & creating. if you can heal yourself or another as an act of devotion, if you can make art or a meal as an act of devotion, that will make the goddess very happy.
thursday is owned by jupiter, who infuses it with his special sauce of inspiration, inspiration to be our best selves, which usually means connecting to our divine nature by connecting to the divine through teachers & teachings. what/who inspires you? gives you something to believe in?
