it’s tuesday, december 3, & moon is in the starspace called shatabhishak, which occupies a sky-slice of aquarius. aquarius offers us an opportunity to see the bigger picture of which we are all just individual pixels, to see the whole world, or, um, universe, as if painted by georges seurat, the pointillist king, to feel into our dotness. each dot is essential & each dot has the power to affect the entire work. are you the dot doing all you can to turn the universe, or at least the planet, or your own corner of it, into a masterpiece?
shatabhishak highlights both sides of our human embodiment—the godly & the demonic, the good & the evil, the uplifting & the disparaging, the light & the dark. our problem is that we’re afraid to acknowledge our darkness, we think we’re the only ones with shadow, we’re the only ones who have limiting beliefs about ourselves, have ever had a negative thought about a another human being, & so we’re afraid to let ourselves be fully seen. it is this secrecy, this hiding of ourselves, that creates barriers, keeps us from truly connecting with others, from being vulnerable enough to foster intimacy—intimacy is not born from & does not thrive in superficiality but in truth thanks to courage.

tuesday is ruled by mars, who is our inner spiritual warrior. make sure you’re fighting the good fight, that you’re fighting for truth not for power. better yet, have the courage (a martian quality) to walk away from aggressive behavior, to stand in your own power by being able to say no. use the courage of mars to be vulnerable enough to own your truth & be real with someone today.
