it’s friday, february 10, & moon is still in virgo, in the starspace called hasta, until midday, then in chitra, which will support & transport the moon into libra just after midnight mountain time, which means we’ll have a libra kinda weekend. so, yeah, get all the i’s dotted & t’s crossed in your life today, so you can have a fun & social weekend. what more can you check off your to-do list so you will feel free to in-joy with the people who bring you joy?
hasta (see yesterday’s post for more), which means “hands,” allows the divine to flow through us so we can manifest, create. chitra is ruled by tvashtar, the divine architect, & also brings artistic powers, in this case to create forms of enduring beauty. the greatest, most gorgeous form we can create is our own self, that’s the work of our life! so the question is, what medium are you working in? are you adding more to yourself, like a painter, or subtracting, paring away, like a sculptor?
it’s the fifth lunar day, the fifth phase of the waning moon, which brings auspiciousness via the power to nourish & thus transform, whether that means revitalizing someone (yourself?) through a healing modality or nudging something into life for the first time through your artistry, tapping into your inner tvashtar.
friday is owned by venus, planet of relationships—not just romantic ones, but def those. relationships are based on intimacy, which means sharing vulnerably, being willing to reveal ourselves & be seen by another. intimacy does not, however, mean sex, altho it can if we are being truly vulnerable, our most truthful self, b/c intimacy actually entails honesty, truth. “when you realize that you can tell someone your truth, when you can show yourself to them, when you can stand in front of them, & their response is, ‘you’re safe with me’—that’s intimacy,” says author taylor jenkins reid. do you feel safe sharing your truth with your people? do you feel safe being seen by them? do they hold space for you or judge you?
with a venus-ruled-libra weekend on the horizon, we have an especially good opportunity to deepen our relationships by showing up fully in our truth.
