it’s friday, february 17, & moon is moving from sagittarius into capricorn early this afternoon while being supported & transported by the starspace called uttaraphalguni. the transition from sag into cap is one from the ideal into the real, from imagination into practicality. while sag vibrates with the frequency of lofty hopefulness, cap vibrates with the frequency of earthy doing the work. if we don’t dream it, it’s never going to come, but dreaming alone isn’t going to make it happen, just as prayer without effort is useless. soooo, keep honing your dream this morning, what you want to manifest, & start taking action steps this afternoon to realize it: dedicate time in your schedule, ask for help, make a plan to hold yourself accountable.
uttaraphalguni follows on the heels of purvaphalguni, so if you suspect that there’s a connection between the two phalguni asterisms, you’re right! whereas purva (see yesterday’s post for more) invited us to plant the seed of what we want to manifest, uttara invites us to nurture those seeds—to keep them weed free, to water them, fertilize them, make sure they get the right amount of sun. “phalguni” means “fruits,” as in the fruits of our actions, & guarantees victory, that our efforts will bear fruit … but we do have to make effort. we can’t just drop a seed in the soil & cross our fingers; the germ of an idea will remain a germ, will never germinate, sprout, grow & thrive if we don’t cultivate it, lovingly tend to it.
it’s the twelfth lunar day, the twelfth phase of the waning moon, which is ruled by the sun & is considered auspicious for starting new work. the sun gives us vision, so it would seem that we’ve got an awful lot of support today to dial in the deets for what we want to manifest & start making hay!
friday is ruled by venus, planet of love & relationships, & is hanging out in pisces now, where it is exalted, with jupiter, planet of faith & grace. bring all your powers of faith to the relationship sector of your life & you just might call in a new romance, or heal a relationship, or transform someone just b/c you believe you can!
