it’s friday, february 25, & moon is in sagittarius, in the starspace called mula. sagittarius vibrates with the frequency of what we believe. our beliefs are ever-evolving or—dare i say?—should be ever-evolving. that is, we shouldn’t believe blindly & forever, we should be willing to question our beliefs, make sure they still align with who we be, make sure they are still serving our highest expression of self, are helping us align more fully with our divine nature.
mula is ruled by niritti, a fierce form of kali, which i know sounds redundant, b/c kali is nothing but fierce, but that just tells you that no prisoners are being taken here, fo’ sure. mula means “root” & brings the lesson that what isn’t serving our highest expression of self gets to get yanked out by the roots. so it’s a good day to do some serious gardening, be ruthless in pulling up dead wood in whatever form, but especially beliefs, b/c, hey, this asterism lives in sagittarius, ruled by jupiter, the part of us that believes, has faith in someone or something.
it’s the tenth lunar day, the tenth phase of the waning moon, which is related to dharma. dharma can be defined as: “an individual’s duty fulfilled by observance of custom or law,” “the basic principles of cosmic or individual existence,” or “conformity to one’s duty and nature.” to do our dharma is to honor the truth of who we are, it means we are compelled to do whatever we can’t not do. none of us can afford to remain invisible & thus keep the truth hidden as well. now more than ever, each of us is being called to step fully into our truth, & by doing so we inspire & give permission to others to do the same. what kind of world could we create if everyone on the planet stepped fully into their truth, the truth?
friday is ruled by venus, who infuses the day with the power of love. as my teacher sharon gannon likes to say, “with great love all is possible.” people want to make love, not war. the russian people don’t want war, the ukrainians definitely don’t want war. may the power of the people’s love for one another overpower the love of power.
