it’s monday, february 28, & moon is in capricorn, in the starspace called shravana. capricorn vibrates with the frequency of making our dreams come true, of doing the hard, focused, consistent work, of taking the practical action steps, to manifest from our inspiration, not ignore it, not stuff it under the carpet. capricorn says, the time is now!
“may i have the courage today / to live the life that i would love, / to postpone my dream no longer / but do at last what i came here for / and waste my heart on fear no more”—john o’donohue
what have you come here to do & how are you doing with that project? what would you do if money were no object? what would you do if you weren’t afraid to do it? what would you do if you didn’t care what the heck other people thought? what is your soul crying out to express?
shravana brings a lesson about the importance of getting still, of getting quiet, of removing ourselves from the noise surrounding us so that we can hear the truth in our innermost, most innermost innermostness. noise is sound expressed in myriad ways—from people to to-dos to media, etc., etc., etc. if we can get rid of the noise, we can begin to dive into the mystery of sound, into its essence, which is god, which is source, which is truth, which is who we be.
“the knower of the mystery of sound knows the mystery of the whole universe.”—hazrat inayat khan
it’s the thirteenth lunar day, the thirteenth phase of the waning moon, which has a venusian quality to it, supports us in satisfying our desire to be with the ones we love, especially but not necessarily, romantically. it’s a good day to feel the ping of cupid’s arrow & love on others.
monday is ruled by the moon, which is the part of us that wants to feel connected to everyone & everything, who wants to feel one with all that is. connection is the nature of the human experience. we are social creatures, are designed to be with others, to share our time together as incarnated beings. how can you create more connection today? whom can you reach out & touch? strangers count!
& that’s your daily bliss! which is a kind of lunar weather report. may it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss. may it inspire you to enlighten up a little more each day.
