it’s tuesday, february 6, & moon is in sagittarius, in the starspace called mula. thank goodness for the optimism & hopefulness of sagittarius after the gloom & doom of scorpio! &, hey, if you weren’t all gloomy & doomy the past coupla days, good on you—those scorpio moons hit each of us differently, depending on our individual chart & its relation to the current pattern of planets in the sky. i usually get hit upside the head by that moon, but not so bad this time. anyhoo, what gives us a boost in sag is the realization that we are part of something bigger than just our individual self, & that we have a purpose, a role to play, in that cosmic narrative. also that someone or something is directing this play, which takes a load off. can you feel into that? feel benevolently held by the universe?
mula is ruled by the fierce goddess niritti, who helps us delete & declutter, get rid of whatever is preventing us from aligning with our highest purpose. & just when we think we’re done, that our lives are spic ‘n’ span, she just might throw some more dirt in our path to test us. it’s a good day to get out our literal or metaphorical cleaning supplies, put on our rubber gloves.
it’s the twelfth lunar day (tithi), the twelfth phase of the waning moon, which supports us in destroying impurities (!), winning battles, whether internal or external, & brings wealth of all kinds—material, spiritual, fame, wisdom. are you embracing/embodying an abundance or poverty mindset? sun rules this tithi, giving us the confidence to succeed in our goals—are you feeling it?
tuesday is ruled by mars, our inner action hero, who is in his happiest, most intelligent, place, in capricorn, for the next two months. mars wants to get sh&t done & fight the good fight. capricorn is the sign of structure, of the kinds of rules & regulations imposed by governments to create a safe container for our lives. it’s pretty much crazy time in government, & it’s probs only going to get crazier, inviting anger & frustration, qualities of an unhappy mars. these two months give us a great opportunity to focus our healthy martian energy into making huge headway on our personal projects, creating more structure, a safer container, for our own lives.
