it’s wednesday, february 9, & moon is in taurus, in the starspace called krittika until about midday, then in rohini. taurus vibrates with the frequency of happiness, of ultimately being able to source our own happiness from within, for, as joe dispenza has said, “if we wait for anything outside us to make us healthy, wealthy, or happy, we are back at the consciousness program of being a victim of our environment.”
rohini (see yesterday’s post for krittika) is ruled by brahma, the creator of all that is. all brahma does is create, create, create. he created himself & from himself he created rohini, & then fell in love with her, creating a cosmic uproar b/c of his cosmically incestuous predilection. but all turned out just fine. this asterism brings a lesson about the pitfalls of falling in love with our own creations, becoming too attached to them, about clinging too tightly to the ones we love. jealousy alert! yes, even brahma knew from jealousy!
it’s the ninth lunar day, the ninth phase of the waxing moon, which also reminds us not to cling too tightly to anything, especially anything negative, anything (or anyone) that makes us feel contracted. but, really, why cling to anything? b/c clinging entails fear of losing, fear of change, & change, perpetual change, is a fact of life, so why waste energy resisting it rather than just enjoying what is, being with what is? can we hold what is loosely, gently, tenderly, with curiosity rather than control?
wednesday is ruled by mercury, who is flummoxed by the word “disinformation,” which is being used these days like a cudgel to attack any idea or narrative counter to one’s own. what’s up with that? what’s up with the notion that anyone has a monopoly on, gets to define, information? mercury doesn’t DIS information, but rather praises it, b/c he trusts in his own discriminating intelligence to be able to unpack it so he can arrive at some semblance of truth, of what is true for him. & he prefers unbiased sources, which, yes, can be a challenge, b/c, let’s face it, everyone has a bias. so let’s just say that when mercury gathers info, he takes into consideration where it’s coming from, who owns the major news sources & our politicians.
& that’s your daily bliss! which is a kind of lunar weather report. may it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss. may it inspire you to enlighten up a little more each day.
