it’s thursday, april 16, moon is in pisces, in the starspace called revatī, but/& we have a new moon before dawn tomorrow in aries, in the starspace called aśvinī.

pisces, the last sign of the natural zodiac, marks the completion of a cycle, & revatī is ruled by pushan, the cosmic shepherd who helps us do so, leads us, & other lost/wayward beings, home.

aries, the first sign, is the beginning of a cycle. & with the new moon launching a new lunar cycle there, in conjunction with an exalted sun, we should feel on fire, should feel doubly inspired, doubly empowered to, doubly motivated to put the kibosh on procrastination & step courageously into our authenticity & do what we’ve been meaning to do.

what needs closure, what do you get to release, forgive, so you can, as good vibes tribe sings on “i release (432 hz),” rise in clarity & feel new space awakening within you? what old patterns get to drift away so you can transmute blockages into golden energy, so you can feel creation moving through you?

we are conditioned/programmed/primed for our needle to stay stuck in a well-worn groove, to keep doing the same old thing the same way, whether it’s a working paradigm or not. it takes effort to try something new, to see through new eyes, shift our perspective—whether about a project or a relationship. it takes being present & curious, being awake to what arises, to what is available in each moment.

aries is where we are born (& reborn), where we begin our story, don’t know how it’s going to unfold or end, where everything is new & different, where all doors are open wide, where, thanks to our innocence & curiosity we are always in awe—in big & little ways.
“if you’re not living in awe, you’re not paying attention.”—rumi
aśvinī’s superpower is to quickly bring healing.
may curiosity be your medicine! may curiosity, not fear, be your guide!
curiosity wakes us up from being on autopilot, from driving on cruise control, invites us to scroll down our pop-up menu & click on “restart.”
aśvinī is related to prana, to our breath. repeat after me (if you want!): “through breath I rise/through choice i rise/through presence i rise.” (“i release”)
the potential downside to being passionately fired up, to feeling all this dynamic energy flowing through us is being in too much of a hurry, being too motivated by urgency. remember that aries is the ram, who puts his head down & just goes, not looking where he’s going, often leaving a mess in his wake!
so it doesn’t hurt to pause & breathe, feel into the present, not barrel into the future, especially b/c akshaya tritya, the most auspicious day of the vedic year, occurs on sunday, when whatever we do will grow & multiply infinitely. more tomorrow!
wishing you a most blessed new moon! may you rise in clarity & feel the golden light of truth & inspiration moving through every part of you! (& maybe check out good vibes tribe!)

& that’s your daily bliss! which is a sort of lunar weather report. may it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss.
