it’s wednesday, january 13, & moon is in the starspace called uttarashadha, the cosmic bridge between sagittarius & capricorn, which carries our lofty hopes & inspirations from the former into the latter, where we can use practical tools to bring them to life, to bring them down to earth into manifestation. capricorn is where we get to dig in & do the hard work, be focused, be disciplined, pay attention, not get frustrated, be willing to be patient & go the distance. capricorn’s ruler, saturn, is a stern taskmaster, but he has our best interests at heart. trust him.
btw: the sun is relocating from sagittarius to capricorn today—so feel free to lower your expectations, cut yourself some slack, even take the day off if you can; let him get settled, unpack his bags. cause the sun is our soul(ar) battery & when he’s moving we’re operating in low-battery mode.
uttarashadha, as i mentioned yesterday (see that post for more), is symbolized by an elephant’s tusk, which suggests the leadership & responsibility & the consistent strength that lead to victory. elephants live in maternal herds & take care of one another, look out for one another. i hate to admit this, but i recently watched some of “mozart in the jungle” (hey, gael garcia bernal is riveting—ok, & sexy!) & the orchestra’s lockout was resolved via feminine, not masculine, energy, by the matriarchs of both sides (artists & management) having a one-on-one. women rule! the divine feminine rules! just saying!
