it’s wednesday, january 19, & moon is in cancer, in the starspace called ashlesha. yikes, i wrote backward & used up all my words on mercury—see yesterday’s post for the down low on cancer!

ashlesha brings a lesson about what we cling to, about whether we are clinging to emotions/ideas/people/situations that raise us up or keep us down, create a feeling of expansion or contraction in us, & if the latter how to transform that into the former, which could mean having a hard conversation with yourself or someone else or walking away. you’ll know what to do!

it’s the second lunar day, the second phase of the waning moon, which is related to acts of manifestation that sustain life on earth, that sustain your earthly existence. does what you are putting out into the world—thoughts & words are actions too!—support life, nourish, or not?

wednesday is ruled by mercury, who appreciates that words have the power to unite or divide & invites us to make good use of our words. i don’t mean to trigger anyone, but let’s look at a word that couldn’t be more intentionally being used to divide: “anti-vax.” “anti” vibrates at a lower frequency than “pro,” which is why the movement to give women autonomy, sovereignty, over their bodies is called “pro-choice.” using the prefix “anti” creates division, two sides at odds with each other; “pro” brings people together, includes.

there are people who invoke personal choice for never being vaccinated for any reason. & there are people who, having looked at the science & evidence, have questioned the necessity of getting this particular shot: if it does not prevent spread of the virus, which it clearly doesn’t, & which was the reason for the government’s call to arms (literally—roll up your sleeve & put this in your arm), then it is surely a matter of bodily autonomy, of each person weighing the risks & deciding for themself, a pro-choice issue, no?

according to the cdc’s revamped definition, anyone who questions the necessity of or refuses to get the shot is considered “anti-vax.” is that a good use of words? only if the goal is to create more division, more polarity. & isn’t it time to unite, to realize that we have more in common than not, that no one is out to get anyone else?

& that’s your daily bliss! which is a kind of lunar weather report. may it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss. may it inspire you to enlighten up a little more each day.
