it’s friday, january 29, & moon moves from cancer early afternoon into leo & from the starspace ashlesha into magha at the same time. the juncture between cancer & leo is called a gandanta (the knot at the end) b/c there is no starry bridge easing the transition of planets, in this case the moon, over the border—ashlesha ends where cancer does; magha begins where leo does. so do mind the gap b/c mind, aka our consciousness, will have no support then. … shifting from the energy of cancer, all feminine energy all the time, into that of leo, all masculine energy all the time, we are reminded that creating the world we want to see (leo) is founded in what we truly love (cancer), what brings our heart peace & joy, not what feeds our ego. it’s going to be a leo kinda weekend, y’all!
ashlesha invites us to examine what we are attached to, what we are clinging to, emotionally & whether that’s really working for us, “working” meaning whether it is serving our highest purpose. magha invites us to give credit where credit is due, reminds us that we stand on the shoulders of all those who came before us. it’s an especially good day to acknowledge & show gratitude to our ancestors—parents, teachers, mentors—any & all who have eased our journey thus far.
it’s the first phase of the waning moon until late morning, then the second. you may still be letting go of some of that capricornian need to control, lockdown emotionally, this morning so you can get more fully into your heart flow later in the day & begin to let your creative juices flow.
venus, who rules friday, is hanging out in capricorn for the next almost month. saturn, who rules capricorn, creates a container, holds space, for venus to do his thing: create beauty, improve the aesthetic environment, deepen relationship. a great example of this saturn-venus dynamic duo would be the murals of diego rivera, which were painted in public spaces, within/on buildings—talk about structure! who or what provides a container within which you can deepen your expression of, connection to, beauty & love?
& that’s your daily bliss! which is a kind of lunar weather report. it is my hope that the daily bliss can help you align with the day’s cosmic energy & find a little more bliss; that it inspires you to enlighten up a little more each day.
