it’s thursday, january 6, & moon is in aquarius, in the starspace called shatabhishak. aquarius vibrates with the frequency of humanitarianism, of wanting to serve something larger than ourselves, of wanting to do what’s best for our community, even the world. which doesn’t mean we have to sacrifice our own interests. for example, game theorists use what became known as nash’s equilibrium to decide whether to shift their strategy from “what’s in my best interest?” to “what’s best for the team?” in order to gain the best outcome for themselves, which can often mean what’s best for the team as well. serving others can mean serving ourselves & be a win-win. wow, what a concept! you can see how this works in real life in the movie “a brilliant mind,” which made john forbes nash famous in popular culture. how can you make this brilliant concept work in your own life? how do you see it played out?
shatabhishak brings a lesson about disease & healing. florence scovel shinn wrote in “the game of life & how to play it,” that “unforgiveness is the most prolific cause of disease.” & t.d. jakes confirmed that when we forgive others we heal ourselves: “i think the first step is to understand that forgiveness does not exonerate the perpetrator. forgiveness liberates the victim. It’s a gift you give yourself.” whom can you forgive today? it’s another win-win!
it’s the fifth lunar day, the fifth phase of the waxing moon, which—how serendipitous!—supports healing in any way, shape or form. need i say more?
thursday is owned by jupiter, planet of our beliefs. it’s a good day to ask ourselves what we believe & ponder where those beliefs came from—from teachers/people/teachings that have integrity or not—& whether they serve our highest expression of self, whether they are just preserving our egoic identity, our idea of who we think we are, or whether they are connecting us to truth with a capital “t.” if we are going to evolve as individuals & as a species, we get to, like a snake, keep shedding our skin, letting go of beliefs that no longer resonate as true for us, let go of who we think we are. do you have the courage to do so? to continually step into the new you?
& that’s your daily bliss! which is a kind of lunar weather report. may it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss. may it inspire you to enlighten up a little more each day.
