it’s tuesday, july 11, & moon is in aries, in the starspace called bharani. aries is ruled by mars, who gives us the courage to boldly go where we haven’t gone before. but aries is also symbolized by a ram, who, if he isn’t intentional, tactical, surgical (oh, mars makes a great surgeon!), will just put his head down & not look where he’s going, leave destruction in his wake. see more below, & meanwhile make sure you look where you’re going, don’t trample on the innocent!
bharani means “the one who bears,” as in bearing children—& also the consequences of them, not to mention that children are the consequence of sexual union. it’s a good day both for creativity & taking responsibility for the consequences of our actions, of what we have created, brought into the world, & to make amends if need be.
it’s the tenth lunar day, the tenth phase of the waning moon, which supports us in realigning with our dharma, our soul purpose, the reason we are here, the work we are meant to do in this lifetime. do you know what yours is? are you living it?
tuesday is ruled, like aries, by mars, who is a skilled & tactical warrior. he attacks with precision, not indiscriminately. he’d never use cluster bombs! for one thing, they kill randomly & forever, are meant to target civilians, even children, which is so, ugh, cowardly, & mars is no freakin’ coward. for another thing, most countries have outlawed their use b/c they are so heinous. & if we need another reason, they’re the weapon of last resort, “last resort” meaning the united states government has run out of regular weapons, we don’t have anything left even for ourselves. wtf?! oh, & let’s not forget that the $100 billion the u.s. has donated to ukraine’s cause, wherever you might stand on it, has depleted our coffers to the point that we don’t have enough money left for ourselves, like to fund our essential essentials—how safe does not having social security when it’s your turn make you feel? our entire military budget is $900 billion—40% of the world’s total & three times china’s! wonder why our roads & schools suck compared with europe’s? why europe has largely free health care? b/c their taxes don’t feed an industrial military complex hell bent only on making money for itself. ok, i’m done ranting! mars always gets me riled up!
