it’s wednesday, july 21, & moon is in sagittarius, in the starspace called mula. sagittarius vibrates with the frequency of hope, shines a light at the end of the dark, murky tunnel we just swam through in scorpio, the one with treacherous emotions perilously impeding our way like jagged stalactites. but we got through! we have emerged! & now we know we can! what insights did you gain from that rough passage that give you hope? what beliefs have been strengthened or no longer serve? sagittarius allows us to find meaning again, to recreate the sacred container of our life. we are all works in process—we get to do this again & again, punaḥ punaḥ (पुनः पुनः), until we perfect it. so. much. fun! so. much. possibility!
mula means “root” & is ruled by niritti, an especially fierce form of kali, which is saying a lot, b/c on a scale of 1 to 10, kali’s everyday fierceness is like a 20! kali takes no prisoners & expects us to take no prisoners when it comes to yanking out by the roots whatever doesn’t serve us, whatever is no longer in alignment with our vision for our life, no longer allows us to express our most authentic authenticity. how would it feel to just yank all that you-know-what out today, once & for all, rather than do it piecemeal, a little today, a little tomorrow, a little next month? why not just get ‘er done?! the gods & goddesses represent aspects of ourselves—we are them. can you embody your kali essence today? how would that feel?
it’s the thirteenth lunar day, the thirteenth phase of the waxing moon, which invites us to find our joy—& who doesn’t need some of that after the past couple of days in scorpio? get with whatever or whomever lights you up today, makes you want to sing & shout & dance.
wednesday is ruled by mercury, who is our ability to communicate, share ideas, be curious, get the facts. not everyone communicates verbally, & we don’t all use words the same way. some of us have to work harder to get our message across, to be heard. if that’s you, allow mercury to help you today.
