it’s tuesday, july 23, & moon is still in ethereal, metaphysical pisces but has moved into the starspace called revati.
i love saying “revati”—doesn’t it sound juicy? revati actually means “abundant” or “wealthy.” way back when crops were harvested when the sun was in revati—the fields were abundant with goodness that was nourishing & wealth-producing.
revati is ruled by the deity pushan, who is like a shepherd tending to his flock, protecting those in his care, guiding stragglers back to the herd. he is the one who protects us as we journey on our path, who guides us on our way home, back to our self, that place we long for.

i felt a wee frisson when i thought about this this morning, b/c today is a geographical journey day for me & b/c i am journeying to take care of my ailing mom for a few days, to nourish her, get her back on her feet, back on her path to self-sufficiency, back on her path to health. ya can’t make this stuff up! the synchronicity is real … if you pay attention!
it’s the seventh phase of the waning moon, which, omg, is related to indra, the protector (!!!) & sustainer of the realm of the gods, the one who looks after the divine flock. of course we must do the care-taking, the nourishing, the protecting, selflessly, whether we’re herding sheep or humans or gods. tell that ego to take a walk while you’re doing your good works today.
& that’s your daily bliss—tuesday is ruled by mars, so use his fiery warrior energy to fight the good fight not to get into arguments, so that your own journeys or those you’re guiding are sweet & fruitful, yield a feeling of abundance & wealth.
