it’s tuesday, july 4, & moon is in capricorn, in the starspace called uttarashadha. after the hopeful, optimistic frequency of sagittarius, we land in capricorn, which vibrates with the frequency of seriousness, with getting practical, real, b/c it’s all well & fine to be hopeful, but if we don’t do something about it, that balloon of hope will just float off & disappear into the ether. capricorn brings it down to earth, or wants to anyway. it’s always up to us. we have to dream it first, fo’ sure, but then we have to take positive action steps to make it a reality. what have you been dreaming? what’re you gonna do about it?
meanwhile, cue fireworks! or not, cause, ya know, wildfire danger is real—& let’s face it, so are pollution & toxicity, which have long been my concern—so the wise ones here in boulder have used their mercurial powers of discriminating intelligence to put the kibosh on those & are giving us a drone show instead—hopefully other locales are thinking along the same lines. & while people put on a good show on the Fourth, celebrate freedom, we get to remember that no one is free until everyone is free & ponder what freedom actually means. free from what—poverty? censorship? oppression of all kinds? the freedom to be your unique self? ponder amongst yourselves!
lokah samastah sukhino bhavantu—may all beings everywhere be happy & free, & may the thoughts, words & actions of my own life contribute, in some way, to that happiness & freedom for all!
uttarashadha is the counterpart (duh!) to yesterday’s purvashadha & pretty much guarantees victory when it comes to that thing in us that craves being born, that cannot be denied … if it’s in right alignment with the highest interest of all beings everywhere.
it’s the second lunar day, the second phase of the waning moon, so we are def being supported in our creative efforts, in our intention for the waning moon cycle, in taking that acorn of an idea & turning it into a magnificent oak tree.
tuesday is ruled by fiery mars, who has finally moved out of watery cancer into fiery leo. which means he’s in his own element, his fire is no longer getting water thrown on it, he’s no longer feeling utterly frustrated, disabled. but too much fire isn’t necessarily a good thing, so do make sure to use your fire wisely!
& that’s your daily bliss! which is a sort of lunar weather report. may it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss.
