it’s thursday, july 7, & moon moves from virgo into libra midday while being transported & supported by the starspace called chitra. whereas virgo vibrates with the frequency of paying microscopic attention to the details of our life, libra vibrates with the frequency of stepping away from the microscope & actually living our life. checking off all our to-dos in virgo gives us a sense of security so that we can enjoy our relationships in libra, b/c, um, our human nature is to be in relationship. the point of having a clean house or balanced checkbook is to invite people over & know how much we can spend being hospitable. notice whether your energy & focus shifts midday, whether you feel done with life chores for the moment & are ready to meet a friend for lunch or a hike or museum outing or spontaneously invite your besties over for dinner.
chitra is ruled by tvashtar, aka vishvakarma, the celestial architect who famously created the vimana, the flying chariot that may have looked like a palace, in the ramayana, which thousands of years ahead of his time satisfied frank lloyd wright’s dictum that “form & function should be one, joined in a spiritual union.” this asterism brings a lesson about our creations being both useful & beautiful, practical & aesthetically pleasing. of course our greatest creation is ourselves & our beauty comes from allowing ourselves to be all we can & are meant to be, & in that way we are useful b/c we can then inspire others to do the same.
it’s the eighth lunar day, the eighth phase of the waxing moon, which also supports creative endeavors & reminds us that everything in manifestation is a product of the three gunas & five elements. do you need a little more fire today to get your project off the ground? a little more tamas to ground it?
thursday is owned by jupiter, aka guru in sanskrit, planet of grace. grace comes through guru, b/c guru takes us to god, connects us to the divine, to our divine essence, which is why it is said that guru & god are the same.
“grace can neither be bought, earned, or won. … if it could be, it would cease to be grace.”—arthur w. pink
& that’s your daily bliss! which is a kind of lunar weather report. may it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss. may it inspire you to enlighten up a little more each day.
