daily blissit’s tuesday, july 9, & moon is in the starspace called chitra. chitra straddles virgo & libra, so we’ll still be paying attention to the practical details of our lives the first half of the day, dotting all our i’s, crossing all our t’s, but will be feeling “enough of that, i need to get with people” later in the day. all that virgo taking care of business, getting our affairs in order, is about being able to enjoy our lives, get on with our bigger picture goals & desires.

chitra means “a reflection” or “beautiful picture” & inspires us to create something beautiful, something that reflects the beauty of our soul. chitra gupta was the keeper of the akashic records, which are said to be the etheric repository of every thought, word, emotion & action that has ever been or ever will be. thus they contain the secrets of existence, of what made us & what we have the potential to become.

the presiding deity of this asterism is tvashtar, the celestial architect. there is tremendous energy to sew or pound or sculpt or design or engineer something into existence or to improve upon what already exists. to leave a lasting mark, something of value that endures.

of course, ultimately, the most beautiful, the most valuable, something we can create/reveal is our true self. like a sculptor chip-chip-chipping away at a solid piece of stone to reveal his secret artistic vision, we can free ourselves from the ego that encases us by unraveling, chip-chip-chipping away at, the secrets of existence.
