it’s tuesday, june 14, & moon is in sagittarius, in the starspace called mula, altho it was just a few powerful hours ago that moon was full in scorpio, in the starspace called jyeshtha, & that energy is impelling us forward for the next half of the lunar month. see yesterday’s post for more, but in a nutshell, what our shadow reveals & how we address those revelations is the key to where we are headed. jyeshtha—the elder, the wise woman, the crone, the priestess—empowers us to be brave, take personal responsibility for our wounding & its transformation, be stands for ourselves, models of priestessness (we can all tap into our priestess energy, regardless of gender or gender identification). & in so doing, we can be more fully present to ourselves & for others.

whereas scorpio vibrates with the frequency of the darkness (aka wounds, fears, traumas, paranoias, limiting beliefs) we are confronting & hopefully releasing & thus transforming, sagittarius vibrates with the frequency of beliefs that give us hope, like a light at the end of our dark tunnel guiding us on our way on.
mula, which means “root” & is ruled by niritti, a most badass form of kali, brings a lesson about being ruthless, taking no prisoners, when it comes to uprooting what doesn’t serve our highest interests. hint: you should have gotten a huge hit of what that is from the full moon. if not, dig a little deeper, until you get to the source, the root of the matter.
it’s the first lunar day, the first phase of the waning moon, which always feels like a bit of a lunar hangover for me. it’s a good day to make peace with, let go of, our darkness, find the sweet spot between trust (taurus, where sun beaming his light on scorpio produced the full moon) & the need to control, the fear of not being in control (scorpio). for me, this means burning, literally, the intentions i set for the new moon cycle.
tuesday is owned by mars, who is, like the priestess, like niritti, a spiritual warrior, so we get to double down on our courageousness today, be fierce for all the right reasons.
