it’s wednesday, june 17, & moon is in the starspace called bharani, which occupies a sky-slice of aries. aries is the first sign of the zodiac, our physical presence, our initial bold steps into life as embodied beings. aries likes to make things happen & does so with inspiration & enthusiasm. let your inspiration be your guide today & let it show you the way toward your highest truth.
there is a whole lotta inspiration at play today. there’s the spark of inspiration that brings us into existence & gives birth to everything we manifest. it’s the twelfth lunar phase (see below). & the nakshatra is bharani, whose symbol is the yoni, which is how life is manifested, is born—the yoni is the gateway from the imagination into form, from the astral plane to the physical plane. nothing represents potential fertility more than the female reproductive organs. whether we want to bear children or not, we all give birth, we all manifest. shakti, the creative life force that animates everything, moves & wants to move through us. let her!
it’s the twelfth phase of the waning moon, which is associated with the sun. the sun is that part of us that is always illuminating the world around us, sharing our power & vision with others, & thus inspiring them to share theirs. how are you shining, how are you inspiring others?
wednesday is mercury’s day & mercury is going retrograde tonight until july 12. which he does several times a year, so it’s really no biggie. but it is a good idea to double-down on mercurial areas of life: reread emails before you send them (which is a good practice anyhoo) & be prepared for miscommunications. it’s helpful to remember that mercury is related to the greek god hermes, who wore winged sandals. he travels lightly & swiftly & has a sense of humor. so when things don’t go as planned, just laugh & shrug it off. remember that the ways of the universe are mysterious. we really have no idea what’s in our highest interest—what seems like a fail often turns out to be the opposite.
