daily blissit’s tuesday, june 25, & moon is still floating in etheric pisces, through the starspace called uttara bhadra, where it has been since yesterday afternoon. here we are trying to commune with something that is beyond, to that great beyond, that elusive mystery that contains multitudes, including ourselves. (see yesterday’s post for more.)

why would we feel inclined to do that? perhaps because we recognize that we are not our bodies, that we are literally part & parcel of something way bigger than ourselves, way beyond the limitations of our physical existence. do you ever look up at the night sky, especially a night sky not marred by the pollution of city lights, & feel yourself a part of it, lose a sense of being separate from all that is?

i mentioned the other day how we are all stardust, composed of the same material as stars, born of the same seed, which exploded out out out out out during the big bang. in fact, we are 99.99999% empty space. these bodies we think of as solid are really more like the star-filled sky than we realize—concentrations of mass (exuding light in the case of stars) suspended in space.

most objects, including our bodies, are just clouds of tiny particles (remnants of the big bang) held together by powerful electrical forces. the human body comprises 7 billion billion billion atoms (that’s a 7 followed by 27 zeroes!) & the nucleus of each atom is the only solid thing in it. if an atom were the size of a basketball, the nucleus would be so tiny that we couldn’t perceive it with a naked eye. can you imagine how big we’d have to be to contain 7 billion billion billion atoms? dontcha think we’d look like constellations??!!

it’s the eighth phase of the waning moon, which is related to the eight vasus, the creative forces in life, who help us manifest what we need in alignment with our values.

& that’s your daily bliss—tuesday is ruled by mars, so use that “get ‘er done” martian energy to tackle something challenging.
