it’s wednesday, june 3, & moon is in the starspace called vishakha, which occupies the sky-space straddling libra and scorpio. however, moon doesn’t move into the scorpio portion until after midnight, so we’ll still be feeling into libra’s desire for everyone to all just get along by being fair to one another—in business, in love, in friendships, in chance encounters, in all of our interactions with other beings. in order for that to happen, ideally neither party overgives or undergives so the scales stay balanced. if someone does us a kindness, we say thank you; if we take someone’s yoga class online, we pay them for it, or, given the current circumstances, we donate what we can or email our gratitude or maybe give them a shoutout on facebook to encourage more people to show up for their class.
vishakha’s energy connects us to our desire to take a step away from the material to the spiritual, to walk through the doorway between these two states. i think it would be fair to say that many of us have been reflecting on the excesses of material existence these past few months, on what is really essential & how much our attachment to the material costs us—financially, energetically, spiritually, emotionally, etc. if the price is too high, we get to make some choices.
it’s the thirteenth lunar day, which loves love & romance, & so does venus, who is so close to the sun today that all of its best qualities will shine. so it’s an especial good day for being with the ones you love, whether romantically or not, & for pursuing your artistic inclinations, be it getting creative yourself or by appreciating the beauty around you—maybe take a virtual tour of an art exhibit?
mercury is the lord of wednesday & he likes anything to do with technology & communication. he also likes to indulge his curiosity & have fun doing so, which might mean going down some rabbit hole on the internet—leave some crumbs so you can find your way back out!
& that’s your daily bliss! which is a kind of lunar weather report. the moon is our consciousness & i hope that by unpacking the cosmic forces influencing it every day, you’ll be better able to understand & thus lean into its ever-changing vibrations & use them to your advantage.
