it’s tuesday, october 21, & moon is in libra, in the starspace called citrā, where we had the new moon just before sunrise. libra vibrates with the frequency of relationships &, as humans are relational beings, that takes up a whole lotta bandwidth in our lives. libra is ruled by sociable venus, who loves love, loves being connected to others.
in the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible, charles eisenstein suggests that interconnectedness, which he calls “interbeing,” is essential for both personal satisfaction & the well-being of the planet.
libra’s symbol is a scale. the key to libra is making sure our connections, our relationships are deeply satisfying, for both/all parties, that we are getting as good as we are giving, that they are in balance. if they are, they contribute to the well-being of one & all.
citrā is ruled by tvashtar, the cosmic artist/architect, who manifested—from his mind into the world!—objects that were both useful & beautiful. this asterism reminds us that the most useful & beautiful thing we can create is ourselves, that our life is nothing less than a great artistic adventure.

how’s your creative process going? what distractions are trying to seduce you off course, perhaps steer the ship of you into the doldrums?
it’s the first lunar day (tithi), the first phase of the waxing moon, when the impetus for what we want to manifest is still as inchoate as one of tvashtar’s magnificent creations, the seed just beginning to take root. what might be percolating?
tuesday is ruled by fiery mars, who is close, but not too close, to sun in libra & very close to mercury, giving us courage to use our words with our people, ask for what we need, share what’s working & what’s not. & we do get to beware not being too impulsive, making sure we don’t inadvertently tip the scales in the wrong direction.
& that’s your daily bliss! which is a sort of lunar weather report. may it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss.
