it’s friday, march 6, moon moves from virgo into libra around 9:45 a.m. MST while being supported & transported by the starspace called citrā, it’s the fourth phase of the waning moon & venus’ day.
after taking care of all the boring (except to virgos!) but necessary life-maintenance tasks in virgo, we are ready to kick up our heels, get outta da house & socialize, for libra draws our attention to our relationships—every shape & size of them. whether they’re romantic, platonic, business, familial, temporary or long-term, libra wants everyone to play fair—wants to make sure everyone is giving as good as they’re getting, not overgiving to get. not over-caretaking to feel needed—that’s called codependency.

with libra’s ruling planet, venus, exalted now, love is definitely in the air & we have an especially good opportunity for greater intimacy, for setting our hopes high & using our diplomatic skills to right imbalances. venus’ exact conjunction with saturn on sunday will offer a dose of reality, structure & sobriety (which is a good thing), will help us have the hard talks, set boundaries, will bring clarity around who is worthy of committing or deepening commitment to.
citrā is, like hastā, associated with manifestation, with making the ephemeral, the inchoate, real. but whereas in hastā what/how we manifest can be more practical, literally hands-on (like a massage therapist), citrā takes the creative impulse one step further—its outcome must be both useful & beautiful, it must sparkle & shine like a diamond while also having a purpose.
as humans we are always creating, we can’t not create, & our ultimate act of creation is ourselves, is our life. how’s that going? are you as sparkly as can be?

the fourth lunar day (tithi), the fourth phase of the waning moon, is associated with ganesh, the remover of obstacles, who does, however, also bring obstacles, place them in our path so we have to overcome them & evolve. how? with our heads, thanks to ruling planet mercury’s discriminating intelligence & ganesh’s big head. the key is to not get stuck in our head, overthinking, which can turn into paralysis by analysis.
friday is ruled by venus, who is, as i mentioned, exalted (hanging out in pisces these days), operating with sublime intelligence when it comes to art, beauty & love. so it’s a double-good day to make music, make art, make romance, to appreciate the many-splendored beauty of your life, to dream bigly.
