it’s friday, march 10, & moon is in libra, having been transported & supported by the starspace called chitra while we were sleeping. libra vibrates with the frequency of our relationships, all kinds, & is ruled by venus, who is in the process of moving signs—from pisces into aries—& is doing so without a net so to speak, b/c there is no starspace bridging water signs (pisces) & fire signs (aries). moving signs is like moving house, getting all our stuff packed up & then having to transport it & get it unpacked & organized & ourselves settled in our new environment. that’s a lot of work—imagine doing it without, say, anyone to help you pack & unpack, without a moving truck! that’s what this sign-shift is like. it can feel volatile & unstable, so it’s best to take all things venus-related slowly until the 15th & make sure not to sacrifice your highest intentions in the process, especially in terms of relationships since moon will be in libra until midafternoon sunday.
chitra is ruled by tvashtar, the divine architect, who created magical but useful objects, like the vimanas, the flying chariots/palaces of ramayana fame. as this asterism crosses over from detail-oriented virgo into sharing-oriented libra & follows hasta (see yesterday’s post for more), we are invited to let our carefully constructed plans take wing & fly, soar out into the world. tvashtar grants the power to create enduring forms—what enduring form(s) of magic do you get to share with the world?
it’s the third lunar day for a smidgen, then the fourth. so we’re still supported in being flexible until about 9 a.m. mountain time & then in dealing with any obstacles that may arise. one way to deal with them is to not resist what is, to invite the challenge to overcome them as a way to grow. as elizabeth gilbert has said, “we must always be prepared for endless waves of transformation.” or, as i like to say, “expect the worst but hope for the best!”
