it’s tuesday, march 1, & moon is in aquarius, in the starspace called dhanishtha. aquarius vibrates with the frequency of humanitarianism, of feeling into our ability to be the change we want to see, of knowing that we can make a positive contribution to creating a more beautiful world, a more enlightened, connected world. under the sway of aquarius we are less concerned with our small self, with i, me, mine, & more concerned with others, with they, them, theirs. every action oriented to another counts—a smile at a stranger, dropping something in the “free box,” taking a friend-in-need’s call, volunteering, donating money. we can all always do something. what can you do today?
dhanishtha means “wealthiest” & brings the lesson that when we are receptive to & aligned with the universal forces of goodness we can create incredible wealth on the material plane, we can bring what we want to bring, live a goooood life. we get to ask ourselves what that means, how we define wealth, how we define juicy material existence, a good life, whether that means business or artistic achievement or creating juicy relationships & feeling truly loved & appreciated by the people in our lives. of course, as shyamdas said, “our greatest wealth is the remembrance of who we really are.”
it’s the fourteenth lunar day, the fourteenth phase of the waning moon, which means we’ve got one more day to let go, release, purge, give the heave-ho to whatever we can, whatever doesn’t serve, whatever is clogging our creative pores so that our slate is clean for the next lunar cycle & we can paint our life anew.
tuesday is ruled by mars, our inner action hero, our spiritual warrior, & he just moved into capricorn, where he is exalted (i.e., operating with high intelligence), so we have a few weeks to take advantage of this energy, take action to fight (or just vanquish—no need to get violent!) our own inner demons rather than picking fights with others. it’s a good time to clean up our own inner act!
