it’s monday, march 1, & moon is in virgo, in the starspace called hasta. virgo creates an environment in which we pay close attention to the details of our life, in which we take stock of, scrutinize, what might be out of order, what needs being put in order—like for me, my sense of time b/c i forgot february has only 28 days & i thought i lost a couple, lol! it’s not the fun & sexy stuff that lights us up (unless we’re virgos!), but it is the stuff that let’s us have fun & feel sexy. once we scrub the floors & repair the deck & get our taxes done, we are free to play joyfully.
hasta invites us to bring intentionality to our imagination by adding discriminating intelligence into the mix & then offering our creation into the fire, letting go of the doing & the results. our purpose is to create b/c we can’t not, to immerse in & surrender to the process for the sake of the process itself, for the opportunity to be in flow, be in our divinity.
it’s the third tithi, the third phase of the waning moon, which adds the special sauce of flexibility to the day, adjusting to what arises, being able to think outside the box & do a 180 if necessary.
monday is ruled by the moon, which happens to be at perigee today, which means it is as close to the earth as it gets, which means we will def be feeling into our feeling nature even more than usual on a monday. when the moon is at perigee it looks REALLY big, & it’s a pretty spectacular spectacle when it occurs at the time of the full moon, creating the “supermoon” effect. many years ago, like a lifetime ago, i was in quebec city on such an occasion & the moon rising over the saint lawrence river was so magnificently huge ‘n’ bright, it looked like it was lit from within like a jack o’ lantern & i felt like i was on an acid trip (this is what we did before ayahuasca, kids!). grab yo’self a peek tonight!
