it’s tuesday, march 28, & moon is in gemini, in the starspace called ardra. gemini vibrates with the frequency of curiosity, of restlessness. gemini says, “enough with the comfy-cozy grounding of taurus, it’s time to get off the metaphorical couch & explore, see where our intellect wants to take us.” in the environment of gemini, we are ready to dive into new experiences, new research projects, new ideas just for the fun of it & share what we discover b/c gemini is social, loves to communicate, thinks that’s fun too! where is your head leading you today? can you indulge your curiosity with the joy & innocence of a child playing with pots of paint?
ardra—ohhhhh, ardra!—is ruled by rudra, the stormy aspect of shiva, & is symbolized by a teardrop. which pretty much says it all, no? like, um, shiva already brings destruction & thus transformation, is the change agent, & pretty much no one likes change, prefers the known to the unknown, prefers to write their own story not have it imposed on them, right? this asterism can bring an emotional tempest (tempests?!), feelings of nostalgia, of “if only …,” of helplessness, b/c we are, after all, characters in the stories written by the divine for us & we are pretty much clueless as to the whole plot that’s meant to unfold. but we get to remember that god, the universe, has our back, that there’s a purpose for our discomfort, for our tears. so we get to cry if we want to, release our sadness, & be open to what may come as a result.
it’s the eighth lunar day, the eighth phase of the waxing moon, which is related to the eight vasus, who allow us to manifest in alignment with what we value. if you don’t know what you value, take a look around: what & whom do you surround yourself with?
tuesday is infused with the warrior energy of mars, who empowers us to fight the good fight, which is predominantly & ultimately with our own demons, our own limiting beliefs, so we can vanquish them & be unequivocally & authentically all we are meant to be, which is a badass way of being.
