it’s wednesday, march 30, & moon is in aquarius until late afternoon mountain time, when it moves into pisces while being supported & transported by the starspace called purvabhadra. the shift from aquarius into pisces is a shift from being concerned about the world at large to realizing that there’s more than just this world.
purvabhadra brings a lesson about the lightning strike of inspiration, aka feeling touched by god, feeling the breath of god breathing us, animating us, which was expressed by michelangelo’s “creation of adam.” according to a blog post in scientific american, michelangelo moved away from orthodox catholicism toward a more spiritual conception of relating to god, one not mediated by the church but that enabled direct communication with god. for this outrageousness he was condemned by pope paul iv. how do you connect with god, with the divine, so you can receive the ineffable lightning strikes of inspiration?
it’s the fourteenth lunar day, the fourteenth phase of the waning moon, which means: new moon alert in pisces tomorrow night in the starspace called revati! pisces is the last sign of the zodiac & revati is the last asterism/nakshatra, signaling that we are completing a cycle, not simply a lunar cycle but like a lunar cycle on steroids. more on that tomorrow, but today is a good day to let go of whatever we can, really clear our slate, focus hard on what we want to create, how we want to be, what we want to build as the moon starts to fill with light again. if you are feeling your energy wane as the moon is almost completely drained of light, so much the better: nothing like doing less externally to do some internal work!
wednesday is owned by mercury, who is the part of us that gathers information so we can figure out what’s true for us & own it, speak it, share it. we get to remember that any loss (of people, opportunities, prestige, income) we incur as a result of speaking our truth isn’t really loss; it’s realignment. the more we align with our truth, the more sovereign, the more grounded in our power we become & thus the more unfuckupable.
