it’s thursday, may 16, moon has moved into libra & is occupying the starspace known as chitra.daily bliss kali neri in virgo, where moon was for the past two plus days, mind was concerned with life’s details, really zooming in on the micro. libra is asking us to zoom out, expand our view, create some balance between the micro & the macro, integrate. virgo is protective & inward (tamasic), libra wants to reach out & mingle (rajasic), so this is another way that libra provides a counter to virgo, more balance.

“chitra” means reflection & is ruled by the deity tvashtar, the celestial architect, the one who sees the jewel hidden within a hunk of seemingly ordinary rock, the individual soul shining beyond the cloud of our illusion/delusion, & who cuts away all that isn’t a reflection of that pure divinity. do you recognize your own divinity? do you let your soul shine brilliantly? who in your world reflects your true self back to you? & are you able to receive that, see that it’s true?

it’s always so interesting to see how other people see us, no? if you have trouble seeing your gifts & accepting that you do have gifts to share, that you are a radiant manifestation of the divine, try this exercise with a trusted loved one: think of how you express yourself in the world & say, “i am the one who [fill in the blank]”; then have your partner respond by saying, “i see the one who [fill in the blank].” for example, you might say, “i am the one who is the mother to all” & your partner might say, “i see the one who loves to feed everyone,” “i see the one who knows how to sing a lullaby,” “i see the one who kisses knees,” “i see the one who sees blue skies everywhere,” etc. there are no right or wrong answers. this is a timed exercise. you say who you are & your partner has, say, three or five minutes to respond while you just listen, receive. acknowledge how you feel being seen & its aftereffects. it is magical!

moon in libra is all about people skills, creating harmony, & is gazing at venus today, so don’t be surprised if you aren’t preoccupied with relationships—desire could definitely be in the air!
