it’s thursday, may 27, & moon will be moving from scorpio into sagittarius around 11 am mountain time, & from the starspace jyeshtha into mula simultaneously. after all the sturm und drang of scorpio (hey, if you missed out on that, good for you!), all the emotional roiling, we find a reason to hope again in sagittarius, we reconnect to the beliefs that give our life meaning, create a container for it, for us, or search for new beliefs, erect a new container.
there is no starry bridge between water (scorpio) & fire (sagittarius) signs—planets, in this case the moon, have to make the leap unsupported, like an aerialist doing their thing without a net. so do be, um, mindful later this morning when this happens, know that your consciousness will be flying without a net.
jyeshtha (see yesterday’s post for more) supports us (like a net!) in fulfilling our responsibilities, toward ourselves & toward others, mula in weeding our life. like a gardener on steroids, mula invites us to get our hands in the dirt & yank out what doesn’t serve us by the roots, b/c weeds are tenacious & if we don’t get every last fragment, they will just uglify the beautiful garden of our life again. forget the gloves & go rogue, you can scrub up later!
it’s the second phase of the waning moon, which is connected to krishna, god, as a creative & sustaining force. & krishna is nothing if not joyful, delightful, so do INjoy how spirit wants to move through you to manifest more structure, a more solid container, for your life.
thursday is ruled by jupiter, who also rules sagittarius, so even more emphasis on hope, on believing in something big, bigger than ourselves, on renewed enthusiasm. did you know that the word “enthusiasm” is derived from the greek “enthousiasmos,“ to be filled with, inspired by, god (theos)? jupiter is the guru, the conduit between god & us, the part of us connected to divine wisdom. who or what INspires you, fills you with a sense of the divine, of your own divinity, gives you hope, gives your life meaning, a sense of purpose?
& that’s your daily bliss! which is a kind of lunar weather report. it is my hope that the daily bliss can help you align with the day’s cosmic energy & find a little more bliss; that it inspires you to enlighten up a little more each day.
