it’s monday, may 8, & moon is in sagittarius, in the starspace called mula. after a weekend of wrestling with emotional insecurity/confusion under the sway of a scorpio moon, we get to get some perspective, see things more clearly, more hopefully under the sway of sagittarius; for jupiter-ruled sagittarius vibrates with the frequency of the greater meaning/purpose of our lives.
for some the recent eclipses brought relationship patch-ups & leveling-ups, but for others it brought breakups. no one loves breakups, even if they’re for the best. & jupiter reminds us that they always are, that if it’s meant to be, it will be, that we can’t miss the one, or they us, that he/she/they were just another stepping stone on our path toward fulfilling our purpose, being all we can be.
mula means “root” & is ruled by niritti, a particularly fierce form of the divine feminine, who helps us yank out by the roots what doesn’t serve & takes no prisoners in the process. if there is residue from the recent eclipses (just b/c eclipses are over doesn’t mean they’re over!), keep digging to get to the root of what came up. one way to do that is to get your hands in the dirt & dig some weeds up, some stuff that is impairing your growth, preventing what’s nourishing to flourish. or pot some flowers to remind yourself of your own worthiness of flowering.
it’s the fourth lunar day, the fourth phase of the waning moon, which can bring obstacles, a sense of being thwarted—ugh. can you circumvent, work around, overcome those obstacles by seeing them as challenges, as opportunities to expand your skill set, test your ability to be with, rather than fight, what is?
monday is ruled by the moon, whose ultimate purpose is to disabuse us of the illusion that we are separate—from each other, from nature. how does moon do this? by connecting, silly! the more we connect—with others, with nature—the more connected we feel, the more connected we realize we are, the more awareness we have—to use the roots metaphor one mo’ time—that we are all actually one organism, that, like aspen trees (which are not yet in leaf here in the rockies), our roots go deep & wide, are one vast system of onenss, merge one with the other.
& that’s your daily bliss! which is a sort of lunar weather report. may it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss.
