it’s wednesday, july 31, & moon is in libra, in the starspace called citrā until early afternoon, then swātī. libra vibrates with the frequency of relationships, which means sociability, b/c we are sooooo ready to get outta da house (or, ok, invite our peeps in) after spending the last two & a half days focused on what lies within it. we are ready to turn our gaze away from the minutiae of our lives, b/c while paying bills & organizing the spice cabinet are important, they’re not why we are here, they’re just the backdrop. humans are social creatures—we not only love connection, we thrive on it.
intimacy is the basis of connection, showing up authentically, sharing the truth of who we are, not hiding the bits & pieces we think others will judge or shame us for, that will turn them off, that will make us look messy. but humans are messy!

i’m not talking about oversharing, just about not hiding yourself from others, allowing a button to dangle, your glasses to be smudged.
&, yeah, i am saying that after tidying up your life, it’s ok to get messy—but maybe not to be a hot mess!
citrā brings a lesson about trusting, believing in, our dreams, our imagination. as eleanor roosevelt said, “the future belongs to those who believe in their dreams.”
swātī brings a lesson about being a master of, rather than a slave to, our desires, being able to choose what we give our attention & intention to, which can be challenging given it’s an airy nakshatra in an airy sign activated by airy rahu & ruled by vayu, the air element incarnate! changeability & distraction, starting something we can’t finish are possible. it may be best to wait before we indulge, see if the passion, the desire, is still alive.
it’s the seventh lunar day (tithi), the seventh phase of the waxing moon, which gives us self-command, which we def need with swātī, & in fact this tithi + swātī + thursday creates a yoga (a combo) for accomplishment. may you use it to your best advantage!
thursday is ruled by jupiter, planet of ethics & wisdom, of high-mindedness, of not sweating the small stuff but seeing the big picture. how do you resource those qualities?
& that’s your daily bliss! which is a sort of lunar weather report. may it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss.
