it’s wednesday, november 16, & moon is in leo, in the starspace called magha. just as moon-ruled cancer vibrates with the frequency of the divine feminine, sun-ruled leo vibrates with the frequency of the divine masculine; leo is the king to cancer’s queen. & sun is moving signs today, moving from libra into scorpio, which means we may not quite be feeling into our kingliness just yet, so let’s do take this opportunity to magnanimously cut ourselves some slack, take a timeout from our royal duties if we can.
magha is ruled by the pitris, our ancestors. & when i say ancestors, i don’t mean just our parents or grandparents—our ancestry as humans extends all the way back to the first humans (& surely beyond, b/c, how can we know whence life began?). we are here in the form we have taken only thanks to the 3.7 billion years that life has so far been evolving on this planet. how far we have come is some measure of how far we can go, dontcha think? you don’t need me to tell you that these are especially fraught times on the planet right now, that we are at a critical turning point as a species. but maybe you do need me to remind you that we are the ones we have been waiting for, that we are the ones who can—& must, if we wish to survive—redeem our bloodlines, alter the destiny of all those who came before us, that we are the light workers who incarnated for this divine purpose. if not now, when? if not us, who?
it’s the eighth lunar day, the eighth phase of the waning moon, which is related to the eight vasus, the elemental forces and processes of nature represented by the five elements & three gunas. all together, they create our life on earth & we create our life from them according to what we value. if you’re not sure what you value, look at what you’ve already created. does it reflect your truest, highest values? if not, time to draw up new plans, reimagine, create anew, wield your light.
wednesday is owned by mercury, who gives us viveka, the superpower of discernment, so that we can know what we don’t know, challenge everything we think we do know.
