daily blissit’s monday, november 4, & moon is in the starspace called shravana until about 2 pm mountain time, when it moves into dhanishtha. shravana is fully in capricorn, dhanishtha straddles capricorn & aquarius equally, but moon doesn’t move into the aquarius portion until early tomorrow morning, so we will still be channeling capricorn energy today. capricorn is ruled by saturn, who brings pressure & fear, maybe even regret. he reminds us that we have only so much time on the earth to get ‘er done & with the moon there, we could be feeling the pressure emotionally. guess that explains what’s going on with me!

the nakshatra shravana (see yesterday’s post for more) is symbolized by the ear, which is pretty easy to unpack: it encourages deep listening, getting quiet enough to reflect & listen to our inner wisdom, which arises naturally when we give it the space in which to do so. dhanishtha is symbolized by shiva’s drum or krishna’s flute, both of which are hollow, are channels for the music, the message, the spirit, of the divine to flow through. the prayer “make me an instrument for thy will, not mine but thine be done” is integral to my daily practice, offering myself up as a vessel for the divine to have its way with me, move me in right relationship to my dharma. when we are in right relationship with universal spirit (or god or whatever you want to call it), we are wealthy (“dhani” refers to wealth) in body, mind & spirit, everything we need, we truly need, flows to us. when we open ourselves up to receiving from the universe, resistance to what is drops away. is a little surrender is in order? is it time to delegate to a power greater than you, one that totally has your back?

it’s mostly the eighth lunar day today, which is connected to the creative forces of the universe & invites us to build a life based on what we value, so a good day to use shravana’s shakti to ponder that & dhanishtha’s to make sure we manifest in right relationship to what we truly value, what makes us feel truly wealthy.

monday is the moon’s day, so don’t be surprised if emotions rule the day, if you feel heavy-hearted or triggered by others.
