daily blissit’s thursday, october 10, & moon will be in the starspace called shatabhishak until midafternoon, then in purva bhadra until late afternoon tomorrow. shatabhishak (see yesterday’s post for more on that asterism) is smack dab in the middle of aquarius, while purva bhadra is mostly in aquarius but also crosses over into pisces. so moon is still charged with aquarian energy today. our consciousness is colored by how we can use our gifts—of time, of intellect, of passion, of knowledge, of energy—to have a greater, a more positive, impact on the world around us, on how we can help to shift consciousness itself. if you don’t think each of us can, just notice how, for example, when your perspective changes, when you, say, engage with others from a place of love & compassion, you don’t notice a shift in them. & don’t you think that person then affects those around him/her/them?

shatabhishak invites us to do our shadow work & to come out from the shadows, to stop hiding from ourselves & from others. purva bhadra is ruled by the deity aja ekapada, the one-footed goat, who is related to infinity. & so the energy of this nakshatra connects us to infinity, to our infinite nature. as moon travels through this starspace we may be given a glimpse, like a lightning strike, of our true limitlessness, of our true nature, of what lies beyond & behind our embodied existence. how can you use that flash of wisdom to inspire you as a mortal being? how can it fuel your direction in life?

it’s the thirteenth lunar day, which is related to kamadeva, the hindu cupid. which means it’s a good day to fulfill your desires, hang with loved ones, be in love or in a place of love.

thursday is ruled by jupiter, who gives us inspiration that becomes a foundation for our life, who clears a path in the forest of life so we can walk more easily through it, so we have a sense of direction, of where we are going. today is a good day to reconnect with whatever brings you inspiration, to recharge that battery. & b/c purva badra is ruled by jupiter as well, we have a doubly good opportunity to experience that lightning strike of inspiration.
