daily blissit’s thursday, october 31, & moon is in the starspace called mula, which is in sagittarius. sagittarius is connected to our highest purpose, which we often find through our belief system. just to be clear: suicide bombers have belief systems, dmytri firtash has a belief system, mitch mcconnell has a belief system, corporate raiders have a belief system. does your belief system profit only you or all of humanity? does your belief system serve your lowest or highest expression of self? do your beliefs resonate with truth? are you grounded in false beliefs about yourself or in your deepest most authentic truth?

mula means “root” & this nakshatra is ruled by niritti, who is related to kali, the goddess who takes no prisoners in her efforts to support our spiritual unfolding. the shakti of mula encourages us to get to the root of our beliefs & use nirriti’s fierce destructive energy to yank whatever isn’t serving us out by its roots. remember: the first act of creation is destruction—something has to die for something else to be born, one door has to close so another can open, one romantic relationship has to end so another can begin (unless, of course, you are not monogamous!). what needs to end, what do you need to shed, to make room for something more appropriate, more nourishing, more in alignment with your dharma, your essential purpose to arise? what isn’t allowing you to expand into your most awesome awesomeness, is taking up energy/space that could be put to better use?

the fourth lunar day becomes the fifth in early afternoon, which means any obstacles we’ve had to overcome this morning should be overcome by the time we digest lunch & we’ll be ready for some healing routines, which might be the medicine we need after the hard work of the fourth lunar day—i know i will be soooooo ready for a soothing salt bath!
