daily blissit’s sunday, october 6, & moon is in the starspace called uttarashadha, or will be at about 10 am mountain time this morning, infusing the day with its unique essence the way we might infuse oil with herbs to extract their unique properties. uttarashadha is in capricorn. after spending the past couple of days soaking up inspiration, connecting to our highest high-mindedness, in sagittarius, moon in capricorn invites us to put that inspiration to work, take action steps to transform it from idea to reality, spirit to matter. capricorn is the taskmaster, but hopefully in a good way—i mean, who doesn’t need a little prodding, who doesn’t sometimes need someone looking over their shoulder reminding them to stay on point, finish their project? or is it just me?!

uttarashadha is ruled by the visvadevas. visva = all/whole/universal, devas = gods, so the sense is of the all-gods, meaning all of the universal principles of life, the personal characteristics that support our success as embodied beings living a material existence: goodness, truth, determination, talent, time, enjoyment, firmness, sight, fame, & leadership. these are the qualities, should we tap into them, that allow us to overcome obstacles, to meet challenges, to keep our earthly objectives front & center regardless. which quality could you use more of today? call it in! don’t be shy—the gods are there for our benefit, they want to be used!

it’s the ninth lunar day, which is related to serpent energy. serpent energy can be toxic, but it can also be transformative—if we can stare it down, see it for what it is, an opportunity to step more solidly into our truth rather than be poisoned by negativity, by the fake news our mind is generating or the traps others might be setting for us.

sunday is the sun’s day, which makes it a great good day to get out in it & replenish your soul(ar) battery. it’s a good day to get physical, to feel the power of your body but also to feel the power of who you are, the power of your unique existence & of the gifts only you can offer the world.
