it’s friday, july 11, & moon is in capricorn, in the starspace called uttarāṣāḍha. capricorn vibrates with the frequency of our duties & responsibilities, of practicality & perseverance. it is the tenth sign of the natural zodiac, which is associated with business, government & leadership. on a personal level, it invites us to take a leading role in the business of our lives—not in a fiery “i’m the king of my jungle” kind of way, but in an earthy, grounded plotting & planning kinda way, in a one-steady-step-at-a-time kinda way. after all, capricorn is ruled by saturn, the slowest-moving planet in the cosmos—he takes his time, isn’t in a hurry, wants to make sure “it” gets done properly, that his work will endure. he knows that slow ‘n’ steady wins the race.
btw: saturn goes retrograde, in pisces, this weekend until the end of november, drawing our attention inward to revisit, reflect on & repair parts of our life where we have unfinished karmic business. what house does pisces represent for you?
uttarāṣāḍha means “later victory,” as in playing the long game, having a goal & sticking to it, being self-motivated & persistent in pursuing it. this asterism is ruled by not one or two, but ten gods, the vishwadevas, who represent the ten directions & all the resources, all the support in the universe. on the upside, this can mean that we feel resourced to the hilt; on the downside that we’re afraid to ask for help, for support when we need it, that we can’t delegate. this asterism brings a message about our invincibility when we truly own our goal. what would you set your sights on if you weren’t afraid to fail? where could you use a little more support? ask & you shall receive!
it’s the first lunar day (tithi), the first phase of the waning moon, when we are still feeling into our full moon insights, inspirations & aspirations, maybe starting to make teensy steps toward embodying & implementing them.
friday is venus’ day. venus loves love, especially the kind that involves people, but also the kind that involves art & nature & beauty in general. the more we love ourselves (yes, i know!), the more love we can experience. self-love might start by being present to & accepting whatever arises in the moment.
wishing you a loving & lovely friday!
& that’s your daily bliss! which is a sort of lunar weather report. may it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss.
